Revised tentative settlement reached with Aramark

Mediator Vince Ready assists bargaining committee members and Aramark to reach a revised tentative settlement

On June 10 and 11, HEU bargaining committee members met with Aramark employer representatives to discuss changes to the agreement that members voted to reject late last month.

Following those meetings, both parties agreed to request the assistance of mediator Vince Ready. Ready was able to assist the bargaining committee and the employer to reach a tentative settlement late in the day on Tuesday, June 16.

Details of this revised settlement will be included in a comprehensive bargaining report that will be distributed early next week. This report will include a voting schedule for all members employed by Aramark.

HEU servicing staff are also contacting shop stewards to improve access to voting and to arrange on-site meetings wherever possible.
