The festival is produced by CoDevelopment Canada, the World Community Development Education Society and co-sponsored by Langara College. The festival's focus is motivating action through awareness of local and global issues.
Opening night film - "Just Do It" is a Vancouver premiere, preceded by a 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. talk by peak oil educator Richard Heinberg.
Saturday night feature - "Louder Than a Bomb" is an award-winning look at a high school slam poetry competition.
