The BC Supreme Court today issued a decision related to the charter implications of union protests held on January 28, 2003.

The court confirmed the conclusions of a December 2004 Labour Relations Board reconsideration panel decision that found that the union's protests on that day did not fall within the freedom of expression provisions contained in the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms.

The union and its legal counsel are reviewing today's judgement.
