The union has revised the process of membership recruitment for HEU representatives, administrative assistants, IT and maintenance staff. In order to address the recruitment needs of the union in a more timely way, the new process eliminates the restriction of an annual posting. HEU will now post job opportunities for members on an “as needed” basis.
We anticipate that job opportunities will be posted more frequently with this process. The postings for job opportunities for members will continue to be distributed through the Action Agenda. The postings will also be posted on our website under “Hot Picks”. This process will replace the Annual Work Opportunity.
