Details of the tentative agreement between the Community Health Bargaining Association (CBA) and the Health Employers’ Association of British Columbia (HEABC) are available for members working in the community health sector.

The CBA reached a tentative agreement for over 16,000 members working in B.C.’s community health sector in mid-June 2018.

This three-year contract proposal covers about 2,300 HEU members working in community health. And if approved, it takes effect April 1, 2019, and expires March 31, 2022.

A comprehensive report describing the tentative agreement is available here.

HEU members are encouraged to attend ratification meetings and votes which will be scheduled in the coming weeks. Those details will be sent to all CBA locals.

HEU is one of eight unions represented in the CBA which also includes the BCGEU, UFCW, CUPE, HSA, USWA, CLAC and BCNU.
