For the second year in a row, HEU’s flagship newspaper the Guardian has received the Canadian Association of Labour Media’s award for Excellence in Writing.
This year, the award recognized the Guardian’s 2007 Fall/Winter issue on Seniors’ Care for its ability to communicate an insightful analysis on an issue impacting a wide-ranging audience. The award was presented at the awards gala, held May 23 in Toronto.
This year marks the 50th year of publication for the Guardian newspaper, which has won a number of design and writing awards over the last two decades.
