On or around March 25 and 26, 1998, the Hospital Employees' Union (the 'HEU') published two news releases containing incorrect allegations regarding the bidding practices, expertise and experience in the health care industry of the Western Pacific Security Group Ltd., otherwise known as Westpac. The HEU and Secretary-Business Manager Chris Allnutt, Director of Communications Stephen Howard, and Servicing Representative Gordon Bailey, unreservedly retract and withdraw these incorrect allegations and apologize to the Western Pacific Security Group Ltd. for these errors. The HEU and Messrs. Allnutt, Howard and Bailey sincerely regret any inconvenience and embarrassment which may have been caused to the Western Pacific Security Group Ltd. as a result of the publication of these incorrect allegations.
