HEU represents over 60,00 hardworking health care workers across B.C., each with a story to tell.

To celebrate the countless contributions to health care and communities HEU members make, we want to help share your stories!

Answer the questions below for a chance to have your story shared and celebrated. Stories may be featured on HEU's social media channels, email newsletters or even in an issue of the Guardian!

Instructions

The form begins with a few general questions about you, followed by a series of prompts. You can answer as many of the prompts that you like, or just focus on one, whatever feels right to you. There is no "right" way to tell your story, we just want to hear it in your own words.

Data use and privacy

Participation is voluntary, confidential, and honour-based. Your information is never shared outside HEU without consent, except as required by law. By completing this form, you consent to HEU’s collection, use, and storage of your personal and demographic information. This data will be used to for union communications purposes including but not limited to social media, HEU's website, emails and the Guardian.

By submitting this form, you consent to the collection, use and storage of your information as outlined above. Questions about such collection of personal information may be directed to the HEU privacy officer at privacy@heu.org.

If your story is selected to be featured, we will reach out to you directly and will not publish your story without your consent.

A photo of the featured member will be included in the member story. Please ensure that the photo you choose shows your full face, is workplace appropriate and is high enough quality to be uploaded on social media (a picture taken with a mobile phone is perfect).
