FHA seeking housekeeping contractors despite increased infection risk to patients
Royal Columbian Hospital’s health care workers will be holding a rally to focus on the risks of hospital cleaning privatization tomorrow, October 29, at 11:00 a.m. on the corner of Sherbrooke and Columbia in New Westminster.
Speakers will talk about the risks of contracting out cleaning services, failed privatization attempts in other jurisdictions including the United States and the United Kingdom, and the Fraser Health Authority’s plans to contract-out housekeeping at Royal Columbian and other health care facilities.
