Re: HEU Staff Union (PEA-HESU) job action
The PEA-HESU representing HEU’s unionized staff served strike notice on HEU earlier this week.
HEU has had productive negotiations with PEA-HESU over the last few months but we have not concluded a collective agreement.
The parties have agreed to meet with mediator Vince Ready next week.
This morning, the PEA-HESU has commenced strike action.
As a result, we expect that HEU representatives may be unavailable today.
