This one-day workshop is for HEU members who are considering getting active in the union or in union-supported campaigns.

In the Getting Involved workshop members will:

Deepen their understanding of how workers’ rights are won and how we fight for and protect those rights.
Explore how activists’ interests, strengths and passions create pathways to getting involved in the union and social justice movements.
Learn about HEU’s structure and how to be more actively involved.
Increase their awareness of HEU’s history as a fighting union.
