The one day “Women in Leadership” workshop, is designed to reflect on women’s history in the labour movement, celebrate the progress made toward achieving gender equity and reflect on the struggles that continue.
All two-spirit, women and non-binary members are invited to attend the session. As space is limited, there may be a selection process depending on the number of applications received.
The “Women in Leadership” workshop is an opportunity for those attending to:
- Reflect on and celebrate the progress made by women and those impacted by gender oppression toward achieving equity and justice; and
- Learn about relationships between gender, race, class and disability and how to apply an intersectional approach to continue the work of achieving justice and equity for all.
Please note, applications received after the deadline will not be accepted.
