Women in Leadership

“Women in Leadership” is a one-day on-line workshop designed to reflect on women’s history in the labour movement, celebrate the progress made toward achieving gender equity and reflect on the struggles that continue.

All two-spirit, women and non-binary members are invited to attend the session. As space is limited, there may be a selection process depending on the number of applications received. 

The “Women in Leadership” workshop is an opportunity for those attending to:  

• Reflect on and celebrate the progress made by women and those impacted by gender oppression toward achieving equity and justice; and
• Learn about relationships between gender, race, class and disability and how to apply an intersectional approach to continue the work of achieving justice and equity for all.
